An award-winning home that combines classic architectural styling with thoughtfully integrated lifestyle features and refined craftsmanship. The project received a Gold Award at the 2015 Master Builders House of the Year Awards and was also recognised with the Lifestyle Award for Outdoor Living.

Designed with entertaining and year-round living in mind, the home centres around a generous covered outdoor living area with automated louvres, creating seamless indoor-outdoor connection across all seasons. An integrated spa pool disappears beneath the decking at the touch of a button, allowing the outdoor space to remain visually uncluttered when not in use.

Throughout the home, exposed rafters, rustic oak flooring, and carefully considered detailing add warmth and character. The staircase features floating timber treads with negative detailing, reinforcing the home’s clean architectural lines.

At the heart of the home, the designer kitchen balances functionality with craftsmanship. Features include a stainless steel butcher’s block, butler’s sink, walk-in scullery, and bifold windows that open directly to the deck to create a casual breakfast bar connection during the warmer months. A custom-designed kitchen nook provides an additional informal gathering space.

The lounge was designed as a relaxed retreat, complete with a pivoting television concealed behind a mirror above the fireplace when not in use — integrating technology without compromising the overall aesthetic.
