MOUNT MAUNGANUI
A CEDAR BEACH PAD.

DESIGN & BUILD
DETAILS.
Designed and built to make the most of its coastal environment, this Mount Maunganui home has wonderful water views as its backdrop. With four bedrooms, three bathrooms and three living areas, this is beach living at its best.
The four-levels of the Mount Maunganui home are clad in concrete block work, plaster and Cedar. Cedar timber is present throughout the property: from the exterior it carries through inside and is seen in the staircase. The Tauranga builders workmanship is showcased in the floating staircase framed by exposed steel and glass.
The open-plan kitchen-living space is set up for entertaining and relaxing. An island separates the sleek kitchen (from HK Kitchens) from the living space, which in turn opens out onto a large deck with a Louvretec roof, making summer barbecues and alfresco entertaining easy!
Working with local Bay of Plenty supplier, Timber Floors, the Tauranga designers and builders included oak-flooring throughout the property.
Two of three bathrooms feature walk-in showers and whilst the master bathroom has a floating vanity, free-standing bath and timber panelling floors and a timber-panelled wall.
A games room on the ground floor provides plenty of extra space for rainy days spent at home and opens up onto its own timber deck and landscaped courtyard.
For guests who stay overnight, the Mount Maunganui home includes self-contained accommodation with its own kitchen.
This Mount Maunganui family home won the Silver Award for Bay of Plenty/Central Plateau at the 2016 Registered Master Builders House of the Years Awards
